The text, choreography and rhythms of this piece come from the tongue-twister "Trinidad," used as a warm-up by the AC Players theatre troupe. Composer, arranger and conductor Thomas Govert was a long-time member of that acting ensemble, and he dedicated this piece to all members of the AC Players, and in memory of Tyler Merz.
